Why is Weiner too broke to resign his job?

This is the story that keeps on giving, but as a greedy capitalist pig this part of it really warms my heart. Here we have a 46 year old, dyed-in-the-wool leftist who pounds his fist and rails against the greedy capitalist machine for not paying more to government for the "common good". Turns out he has never worked a day in the private sector, where a buck of profit must be made to cover his paycheck. No, he has sucked on the taxpayer teat for a career, he has zero marketable skills, nothing to fall back on. So that gets us to today, where he is desperate to keep his seat for purely financial reasons. He has no options. Outstanding. If this guy isn't a poster child for needing new blood in government, namely "inexperienced" politicians like people who have run businesses, I don't know what is.
