How do I confront my strict parents about their hypocrisy (or oblivious behaviour)?
They do lots things that don't even make sense to me. Today, my dad just asked me to get the new pack of batteries, from upstairs, while I was busy, but I got it for him anyways. When I got downstairs, he was watching a hockey game, and I tapped his shoulder and tried to give it to him, and he didn't budge, he didn't even tell me where to put it. To show him how he can be oblivious of his behaviour sometimes, I left it right in front of him, where my 2 year old sister was (I know, not the safest thing to do, but I know my dad and my sister). Once I told him that I left it in front of him, he started to yell at me, getting mad at me for leaving it in front of my sister. This is just one of the countless events where my parents can be a bit oblivious.
