Are HIGH DOSES of Guaifenesin DANGEROUS?

So I have a bottle of Robitussin Extra Strength DM. It has 10mg of dxm per every 100mg of guaifenesin. Is it safe to use this to trip? I have used pure dxm gels, and those gave me explosive diarreah but still work nicely. I've heard Guaifenesin can cause nausea and vomiting, but is it dangerous to take too much of this?
